We didn’t get to spend much time in Thailand, which is why Derek decided to stay a few extra days. What I did see was a major, bustling city like many other cities. It had come a long way since 1997, the last time I was here, when the BTS was being built. Still, what I loved most were all the side streets, with shops selling all kinds of things, most of all food.
