“Oh, a storm is threatening my very life today!” Jagger rasps in the background while his mates play on.
Meanwhile, Taylor and I are on the couch. I’m writing, inspiration and boundless energy coming from drinking a cup of coffee this morning, only the second time in my life I have ever brewed a cup for myself (the first only being yesterday). Amazing what a little cup o’joe can do.
It’s raining outside, the clouds ominously grey and dark. A storm’s brewing. And we cannot wait as we sit in anticipation, both loving rainy (days and) nights.
Taylor sleeps comfortably next to me, as his head rests by my arm, cuddled underneath his new blanket. Linus would understand.
