It’s 6:30 AM now. I’ve been sitting here since 5:45 AM. Taylor looks at me. On my balcony, sipping a cup of coffee, listening to the score from the final scene of The Dark Knight Rises, looking at what’s before me close and in the distance. Writing. It’s epic (the view that is; the writing a distant second on a scale of epic). And on some mornings, even a tear manages to find its way out. Especially when the drums kick in. And especially when it kicks in as the sun rises from the horizon of the hills in the distance.
