Echoes stir
While I sit still, breathing momentarily halted
Memories of voices past that walked among these leaves linger
A glimpse into a future where things will be better
It’s ok I say
Echoes stir
Driving along a long, lonely highway
My road companion these last few hours
The wind cries
Mary
Jimi smiles from a distant past
Move over Rover
Jimi took over
Along with Robert, Jimmy, John and John Paul,
With Mick, Keith, Charlie and Bill
With John, Paul, George and Ringo
And Pete, Roger, John and a man named Moon
And then The Boss
But that was a long time ago today
At this very moment
Only echoes stir
Go Adventure. Go Travel. Go Live.
