We’ve hiked so often that it would be tough to pick one moment that stands as my favourite. One day earlier this year, walking through Fernwood Cemetery, I happened to look back to catch Taylor literally drinking in the light, the sun’s golden rays shining down upon him during its golden hour. I don’t think I’d ever seen him so happy.
We walked on air the rest of the hike home.
