Despite the fact that he’s “won” or maybe because of it, Taylor still gives me the sense that I am in control, fully knowing that this false sense of security is just a warm blanket he’s giving me, to be taken away at his whim.
Before he climbs up and onto my couch, Taylor always “asks” for permission.
Permission granted.
