Sunsets from my balcony unfortunately do not get the same publicity as the Sausalito sunrises from the same point. The nights with a full moon are a different story. As the darkness descends upon me from behind, the moon makes its presence directly in front of me. And like sunrises, my balcony provides the perfect vantage point to witness the theater. This series (a time-lapse video spanning anywhere from two to three hours compressed into about thirty seconds) hopes to explore many of the ones I’ve witnessed, whether there was a full moon or not; and by sharing them I hope that you get to feel the beauty I see and the exhilaration I feel.
