Sometimes, it may not seem like it.
I’ve had my days where it definitely did not.The truth of it is – happiness is a choice.
I’ve had this conversation with so many friends and family and colleagues and acquaintances and strangers. Some of the happiest people I know are people that have had some of the most tragic things happen. But there are days that even I forget. So I was reminded of that again after re-reading this post I originally wrote a little less than two years ago.
Time flies when you’re having fun.
Time flies when you choose to be happy.
The primary theme for this blog is that looking for the good & the great in everyone & everything will help you come away from every interaction & experience a better person, that the way you approach it and your outlook shapes what you come away with and your perspective on life and happiness. In a world where the bad gets all the headlines, taking control of how you react to what happens to you is, I believe, the difference between a life fulfilled vs unfulfilled.
I believe you can truly choose to be happy. Bad things happen to people all the time. Unfortunately many of those times, it’s good people to which those bad things are happening.
