Energy fueled by the Cubs postseason run, conversations of late with close friends, a splendid night sleeping dreaming perfect dreams, and of course a perfect sunrise, I decided to finally challenge myself by undertaking a painting commission the size much bigger than I’ve ever attempted.
And so I did what I always do when I am ready to take on something new, and reflected. Aided by The Batman, I decided to paint sitting in the area where I felt most comfortable, where almost every morning I reflect. My balcony.
Every morning should start with The Dark Knight, some paint, a blank canvas, brushes and an easel against a Sausalito sunrise.
