Sunrise on Bridgeway

I crave my mornings, especially the moments before dawn. My balcony of course provides both respite and energy to take on the day. Of late, I’ve been enjoying my sunrises from other parts of the Bay Area. This morning, I decided to drive to Bridgeway Avenue in Sausalito along the water where in front of me Angel Island, Alcatraz, the Bay Bridge and the San Francisco skyline dominate my view. And behind me, the hills of Sausalito that remind me so much of any quaint little town along the Mediterranean provide a complement to the view in front.

And I watch the sun rise. On this particular morning, orange dominates.

Every so often, a pelican or a group of pelicans come gliding along the Bay towards the Golden Gate Bridge over the hill.
