Paulo Coehlo calls the search for finding the true meaning of life, the search for your personal legend, narrated beautifully in his book The Alchemist. Whatever one may call it, surviving that day six years ago crossing the street in Chicago, revealed some important things to me, in search of my personal legend.
There is a plan of which I am a big part. I am not done with what I have to do. I have not yet done what I was meant to do on this planet. And neither are you. I love this quote from “Winter’s Tale”.
“Destiny calls to each of us. And there is a world behind the world where we are all connected. All part of a great and moving plan. Magic is everywhere around us. You just have to look. Look. Look closely. For even time and distance are not what they appear to be… We are all connected. Each baby born carries a miracle inside. A unique purpose. And that miracle is promised to one person and one person alone. We are voyagers, set on a course towards destiny to find the one person our miracle is meant for.”
I am here to change the world. One person at a time. One interaction at a time. And so are you.
In the process, I am trying to do everything I can possibly do. Be everything I can possibly be. Give as much as I can possibly give. Live as much as I can possibly live. Laugh as much as I can possibly laugh. Love as much as I can possibly love.
Every go through the day and wish you had time to do all the things you want to do? I did. I do. And so, on those days, I compiled a list of all the things I wanted to do. And now? I am doing them.
I’ve done a lot.
It’s time for me to do more.
