I’ve got Van Morrison playing in the background with the Chicago Cubs vs Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game on TV.
(I just happen to find out that the Cubs starting pitcher Clayton Richard is from my hometown in Indiana; neat little tidbit. I love tidbits. However, the Cubs are facing Clayton Kershaw – the much better Clayton – one night after facing Madison Bumgarner of the San Francisco Giants. That’s a two-game nightmare stretch. The Cubs, or any team for that matter, is not going to win many of those, if any.)
I just FaceTimed someone dear to me, while the sun sets as the moon rises in the distance in front of where I currently sit.
Life is good.
It’s a marvelous night for a moonlight.
