Matt Bellamy belts out lyrics to one of my favourite songs “Starlight” as Muse screams from my car. I have the bridge for the most part all to myself. The city beckons.
Turning my gaze quickly to my right, there it was hanging like a bright, orange ball, an ornament in the sky hitting 45. There’s something magical about crossing the bridge, especially this particular one. I shouldn’t be surprised, though I happily allow myself to be so, but the Golden Gate always stirs emotions deep within me. I always roll down the windows. I always open the moon roof. And I drive, with a smile. Cos that’s what you do when a big bright orange ball hangs from the sky while you cross the bridge.

And then Eddie, Matt, McCready, Stone & Jeff take over the songs in my head and in my car.
